The Deep Blues Seafood Festival will bring together international and local chefs to celebrate the world-class seafood of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Newfoundland and Labrador is fortunate to have some of the finest seafood products in the world right at our doorstep. Come celebrate what the North Atlantic has to offer, as international and local chefs reimagine dishes and share their inspirations.

The Deep Blues Seafood Festival will take place in Old Perlican August 19 - 21, 2022 and consist of 4 events:

Friday Kickoff Party

Friday, August 19
6:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Old Perlican Ballpark

Come celebrate our inaugural event! Join us at the ballfield for live blues music, food and drinks.

An all-star lineup of local chefs will work their magic serving up their favourite snacks—try them all!

There will also be a station at the entrance of the field providing a custom #rocktail from the Newfoundland Distillery Company.

Shoreline Pop-ups

Saturday August 20
11:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Old Perlican Island & The OP Skerwink Trail

What better way to enjoy the bounty of the sea than in the open air, next to the salty deep blue. This event will see two chefs stations set up on Old Perlican Island, and three along the Skerwink Trail. Chefs will be preparing and serving seafood products provided by local producer Quin-Sea. Enjoy unique culinary delights while taking in the views and exploring the area.

Ocean Quest Adventures will provide zodiac shuttle service to and from Old Perlican Island. For guests checking out the Skerwink pop-ups, shuttle service will be set up between the main wharf and the end of the Skerwink Trail. Sampling stations operated by local distilleries & crafter breweries will be set up on the main wharf.

Deep Blue Saturday

Saturday, August 20
6:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Join us at the ballfield for a second night of live blues music, seafood tastings, and craft beer pairings.

Local chefs will work their magic serving up their favourite snacks. Each chef will offer their own unique take—try them all!
